Photographing Dogs in Tryon Creek State Park

This past week Dancing Dog Photography had an opportunity to photograph two dogs in Tryon Creek State Park in the Portland, Oregon area. Both dogs were rescue dogs. Sydney is an Australian Shepherd and Bowie is an Australian Shepherd mix…..maybe a little Husky?  They were very sweet dogs and we spent the morning looking for fun, sun, and of course squirrels!  I love that each dog has a left blue eye and a dark right one. Their human, Janice, is a Naturalist and hiker. She teaches and leads tours in many of the parks in our area.  She really wanted photos of her two furbies in her favorite environment, which is what led to this particular park.  We have had terrible weather this spring, but we finally got a beautiful and sunny morning with no rain!

Just for fun, I decided to try a little vintage post processing on these images!  What is so great about the digital world is that you can always try something else!

Canine Fearsome Foursome Photography Session

Dancing Dog Photography recently had the opportunity to photograph a family of four, very active dogs!  The action was fast and intense at times!   I do believe that fun was had by all, as documented in their photos.  There was catch, chase, tug, and in the end they  even found mud.  Their human, Becky, wanted images of them being themselves and that is what was captured!  Definitely…..Boys having fun!
